Verna Jean Yontz

Verna Jean Yontz, age 92 of Akron joined her beloved husband Jim and son Jimmy in Heaven on August 5, 2026. She was born on May 24, 1934 to the late Michael and Mildred {Bugarski} Zivkovich.

In addition to her parents, Verna was preceded in death by her husband James Yontz and their son James "Jimmy" Yontz.

Verna is survived by her loving daughters Lori (Brad) Ferrell and Lisa (Ed) Wills; grandchildren Lauren (Juan), Ashly, Mark and Jimm; great-grandchildren, Eliana and Noah; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E Waterloo Rd.
