Verlin Eugene Evans II

Verlin Eugene Evans II, born on February 21, 1961, passed away on September 13, 2026.

Verlin will be remembered as a man who loved deeply and lived in a way that reflected his generous spirit. He loved his sisters and held family close to his heart. He especially showed that devotion in the care he gave to his sister Becky, readily running to the store for her and taking her to doctor appointments. He was someone who would help anyone, a quality that reflected the example set by his father.

He also found joy in the simple pleasures that made life meaningful to him. He loved riding his motorcycle and fishing, and he enjoyed spending time partying with his friends. In quieter moments, he liked passing the time watching the Sci-Fi Channel. He also enjoyed playing dice and shooting pool, activities that brought him together with others and added to the many memories shared by those who knew him.

Verlin is survived by his sisters, Darla Loft, Judith Burns and her husband Hubert Burns, and Becky Deichert and her husband Mark Deichert. He is also survived by Tammy Johnson, his girlfriend, who shared in his life and companionship.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Verlin and Ellen Evans; his sister, Sandra Collier; his brother-in-law, Bill Loft; and his nephew, Keith Burns.

Verlin Eugene Evans II will be remembered with affection for his loyalty to family, his willingness to lend a hand, and the enjoyment he found in the people and pastimes he loved. His memory will remain with those who knew him and cared for him.
