Velva Davis, 92, passed away on December 2, 2013.
Velva enjoyed gardening, fishing, crafts, crocheting, baking, cooking, and especially spending time with her beloved family. She was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph; daughters, Betty Whyler, Joyce (Gary) Crawford, and Mary Davis; sons, Jim and Tom Davis. Survivors include daughter, Nancy Gaspar; son, Dan (Susan) Davis; son-in-law, Bob Whyler; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Friday, 4-7 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment at Restland Cemetery.
