Vacion Gile Murray

Vacion G. Murray, 69, of Akron, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. Born in the Philippines, she later made the United States her home and was proud to become a U.S. citizen. Vacion loved soap operas, playing the lottery, tending her garden, and sharing laughter with her family. She will be remembered for her warm spirit, resilience, and the joy she brought to those around her.

She is survived by her son, Gary Murray Jr. of Akron; her grandchildren, Ethan and Brennen Murray; her daughter-in-law, Jhaime Murray; her brother-in-law, Frank Murray; and many other loving relatives who will forever cherish her memory.

A graveside service and burial will be Tuesday September 2, 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, where she will be laid to rest beside her loving husband, Gary Murray Sr.

Her love and presence will remain in our hearts always.
