Tracey, 42, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2015 after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was born in Massillon, OH on October 29, 1972 and graduated from GlenOak High School in 1991 in Canton. While at GlenOak, Tracey was involved in drama and the band. She played the saxophone and performed at Carnegie Hall during her senior year. Tracey lived in Savannah, GA for 5 years and loved Tybee Island and sea turtles. After returning to Ohio, she was a student at Stark State College of Nursing. Tracey was a member of Maranatha Bible Church where she was involved in the Women's group and taught girls in the Olympians program. In recent years, Tracey developed a love of hiking and enjoyed the Summit County MetroParks.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, Mark and Linda Sundbury; her sons, Devyn (Jessica) Sundbury and Marcus "Zeke" Sundbury, their father, Shawn Sutton, their grandmother, Carolyn "Frog" Sutton, and their sister, Maya Saurer; siblings, Tammy Stitz, Angela (Richard) Swain, Mark Sundbury II, and Thomas Sundbury; grandson, Tobias Sundbury; grandmother, Lois Wolfe; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and friends. Tracey's family wishes to thank all those who visited, prayed, and supported her for the past 5 years.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 followed by a 2:00 p.m. memorial service at Maranatha Bible Church, 1424 Killian Rd., Akron, OH 44312. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tracey's family.
