Tina Shawbell

Tina Shawbell, 51, of Akron, passed away August 9, 2014, unexpectedly. Tina was born in Akron, Ohio on January 9, 1963, She lived in Akron for a majority of her life and attended Kenmore High School. She was an extremely generous and caring person who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and worked at Acme Fresh Market on Wedgewood Dr. Tina was preceded in death by her father, LD LaFever; father-in-law, William Shawbell; brother, Tommy LaFever and nephews, Arron, Thomas Jr. and Craig. Tina is survived by her loving husband, Scott D. Shawbell; children, Jason (Danielle) Shawbell of Green, David Shawbell of Akron, and Courtney Shawbell of Akron; grandchildren, Gavin and Liam Shawbell; mother, Mary LaFever; siblings, Donny LaFever, Judy Burns, Dana (Randy) Cross, Donna LaFever and Jeff LaFever; mother-in-law, Patricia Shawbell; in-laws, Richard (Donna) Shawbell, Russell (Valerie) Shawbell, Barb (Steve) Allen, Steven (Tracy) Shawbell, Kelly (Michael) Livigni. Family and friends may call on, Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 4pm to 8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Road, Akron, and on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 10 to 11am with funeral service to follow at 11:00am with Fr. Michael Williamson officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery
