Thompson (Tom) H. Montgomery Jr., 58, of New Franklin, passed away unexpectedly February 12, 2015 and was reunited with his loving wife. Tom was born in Akron , Ohio on June 22, 1956 to the late Thompson Sr. and Mary Reed. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in the 5th SFG (A) from 1974 to 1977. Tom retired at an early age to enjoy his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by the love of his life Joan (nee Rich); beloved brother, Ellis (Bunk) and sister, Darrah. He lives eternally through his daughter, Kortney (Michael) Baker and son, Kristian Montgomery; grandchildren, Rogan and Merrik Baker and many special friends. There will be no services held. In lieu of flowers, Hug the ones you love.
