Thomas Paul Kintz, 73, of Akron, passed away on May 14, 2015. He was born in Randolph on November 26, 1941 to the late James and Kathryn Kintz. Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army. After being honorably discharged from the military, he started Thomas Kintz Construction, which he owned for the past 40 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers. Tom will be deeply missed by his children, Tom Kintz, Ed (Becky) Kintz, Renee Kintz and their mother, the love of his life, Donna Kintz; brother, Mike (Rosemary) Kintz; grandchildren, Kayla, Tommy and Noah; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call on Monday, May 18, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church, 313 N. Depeyster St., Kent. Tom will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery in Randolph at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
