Thomas David Pacic, 74, of Coventry Township, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2026. Born in Columbus, Ohio on July 28, 1951, David grew up in Youngstown and Ravenna.
After graduating from Ravenna High School, David attended Kent State University and eventually earned a degree in computer science. David soon discovered that he preferred working with his hands. He learned commercial painting through an apprenticeship under his father-in-law and gradually discovered a passion for carpentry which evolved into his own business. Even after retirement, David enjoyed home improvement projects for himself and others.
David also loved all types of music - rock and roll, soul, and blues and he had a way with animals, especially his beloved chihuahua, Dash.
Above all, David loved his family. He and his wife, Debra were true soulmates. They met in junior high school and years later, through the matchmaking efforts of Debra's cousin, they went out for drinks and the rest was history. David and Debra were inseparable for 55 years since that first date. They enjoyed a quiet life together enhanced by their simple evenings watching favorite tv shows and get togethers with family.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Natasha Pacic.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Debra Pacic; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Ryan Blackburn; father, Thomas Edward Pacic; and sister, Linda Pacic. David was also a devoted "Papa" to his three grandchildren, Noah, Bella, and Eli, who will never forget him. He also leaves behind numerous other special relatives and friends.
Per David's wishes, his family will celebrate his life privately.
