Thomas Leonard

Lakemore—Thomas "Tommy" Leonard, 83, went to be with the Lord and wife Marion on October 12, 2012. Tommy lived in Lakemore most of his life, and during the past year was a resident at St. Luke Portage Lakes Nursing Home where he met so many wonderful new friends. Tommy loved collecting what some people would call "junk", but he called it his treasures, where he got his nickname "Patches" and "The Traveler of Flea Markets". He was a member of the Army-Navy Garrison #273, which he called his second home.

He is survived by his great friend, Donna Miller, along with many other friends. Many thanks to St. Luke Portage Lakes and Crossroads Hospice for all their loving care.

Friends may call Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 4 p.m., at Army-Navy Garrison #273 in Lakemore for a celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Lukes of Portage Lakes, 615 Latham Lane, Akron, OH 44319.
