Thomas Luther Hamrick
Thomas Luther Hamrick, age 59, passed away peacefully at home, loved ones by his side, on November 28, 2015 after a courageous battle with long term illness.
He was born on October 23, 1956 in Akron, Ohio. Tom served our country in the Navy for 4 years. He then devoted himself to the family business, Hamrick Manufacturing and Service for 38 years. Tom was a loving husband, son, father, and brother.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Franzman and sister, Patricia Warshall. He is survived by his father, Luther "Red" Hamrick (Marti); wife, Dawn J. Jones Hamrick; daughters, Ashley and Heather; brother, Phil (Sue); sisters, Sharon (Bobby), Joyce (Ken), and Janice; many adored nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visit at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 from 5-6 p.m. with a brief service following at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suffield Fire Department and EMT Service, 1256 Waterloo Rd., Mogadore, OH 44260.
