Thomas M. Germain

Thomas M. Germain, 75, passed away on July 10th 2025 surrounded by his wife and family.

Tom, a resident of Boston Township, was born in Saint Louis. He graduated from Hudson High School and was a proud Kent State University Alumni.

Tom retired from the Stow Municipal Court. He was also a library assistant at Western Reserve Academy. Tom spent time with the Re-Member organization on the Pine Ridge Reservation. He enjoyed reading and being with his family.

Tom and his wife Amy recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

Tom loved his grandchildren so much. His grandchildren will remember Grandpa with the chickens, for waving with both hands, laundry basket rides, for tea parties and proudly wearing the crowns bestowed upon him. He will be missed at every cheer meet, soccer game, and concert.

Preceded in death by his parents Mildred and Raymond Germain; aunt, Virginia Germain; brother Jack.

Tom is survived by his dear wife Amy; bonus children Gretchen (Ron) Gallimore, James (Franca) Hendryx and Benjamin (Melissa) Anderson. He leaves behind his grandchildren Julia Hendryx, Tanner and Angeline Anderson.

Tom was an avid reader. In honor of that we ask in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Carole Wright Children's Fund at the Peninsula Library.

A private memorial gathering is being held with family and friends.
