Theodore P. Sandels

Theodore P. Sandels, 89, passed away on July 28, 2026. He was born on June 23, 1937 the son of the late Paul and Irene Sandels. Theodore proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion of Green. Theodore retired after 37 years of dedicated service from UPS. He was a man of faith and was a member of The Chapel in Green. He enjoyed the outdoors playing golf and especially working in his yard. He had many accomplishments but his greatest was his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother Paul Peterson.

Theodore is survived by his loving family, daughters Renee Acuff, Lynne Pultea, and Diane Mastramino; step-daughter Lindsey (Paul) Gardner; grandchildren Jessica (Shawn) Watson, Alicia Kline, Lindsay (Clint) Masters, Faith Kline, Rena Mastramico, Rocco Mastramico, Christian Gardner, Cameron Gardner, and Callie Gardner; great-grandchildren Dominic, Ethan, Dylan, Olivia, Emily, Jeremy, Brynnleigh, Hunter, Ellie, Linnux, and Elexa; siblings Fred (Joan) Sandels, Bruce (Ella) Sandels, Paula (Dale) Machak, and John (Pam) Sandels; beloved grand dogs Guiness, Riko, Winnie, Sadie and Buck; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Wednesday, August 5th at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron).

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, August 6th at The Chapel in Green (1800 Raber Rd., Uniontown) with Pastor Dale Saylor officiating.

Interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
