Terry S. Toth

Terry S. Toth, 80, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2026 after a brief illness. Born in Akron, Ohio to Steve and Gerry (Kirkman) Toth, he was a lifelong area resident. Terry graduated from Garfield High School and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company with over 40 years of service. He was Treasurer of the Goodyear Retirees Club. Terry loved people - he never met a stranger. He could stand for hours and talk your ear off about any subject. Terry loved vacations to the beach, watching wrestling with his nephew Brian, baseball, football, going to parades, fairs and festivals, watching old classic movies and spending time with his family and friends.

In additon to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his daughter, Joyce Hughes; granddaughter, Brittany Trumble; nephew, Brian Bills; siblings, Michael Toth, Marc Toth, Carla Southworth; brother-in-law, Robert Bills Jr. He will be sadly missed by his wife of over 60 years, Betty Toth; grandson, Barry Hughes; great granddaughters, Mia Hughes, Bailee Trumbull; sister-in-law, Janet Bills; and many friends.

Betty was the light of Terry's life. He always affectionately called her "Wee".

Terry has earned his Angel Wings. His journey is now over and he will be missed forever.

A special thanks to the Summa Hospice team for their loving care of Terry.

The family will have a private graveside service at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Terry's name to the charity of their choice.
