Tammy Sue Fresh

Tammy Sue Fresh, 65, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026 surrounded by family. Born in Canton, Ohio to Leon Charles Swinehart and Norma Klainer, she resided in Akron the majority of her life. Tammy was a 1979 graduate of Akron Garfield High School and later opened Fresh Cuts Dog Grooming in 2006. She enjoyed traveling, going to casinos as well as the beach, car shows and most of all, spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her father, Charlie Swinehart, she will be sadly missed by her husband of 45 years, Russell Fresh Jr; son, Joshua (Angela) Fresh; siblings, Dave (Cheri) Swinehart, Shelley Kirk (Dave Balca), Ami (Stuart) Leemaster; many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a celebration of Tammy's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Tammy's name to an animal rescue organization of their choice.
