Sydney E. O'Donnell

Sydney E. (O'Donnell) Young, of Atwater, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the young age of 33 after a long hard fought battle with a rare lung disease. She was born in Akron, Ohio on August 14, 1992 and graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 2011. Sydney was a loving devoted wife and mother. She loved nothing more than being a Mom. She also enjoyed cooking and being "The Snack Queen". She also loved spending time with friends and family and was a avid and Good-ish euchre player.

She is preceded in death by son, Conner Warren; and grandparents Neil and Jean O'Donnell.

Sydney is survived by husband Cory Young; daughter Kenzie Warren; son Weston Young; father Christopher O'Donnell; sisters Grace and Maggie O'Donnell; step mom Marcia Wieland; grandparents Joe and Martha Baker; along with countless other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held, Monday, January26th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron) where services will be held at 6:00pm with George Reese III officiating.
