Suzanne Kay Holata

Suzanne Kay Holata, born to Paul Baloun and Delora Cletzer in Medina, Ohio on June 10, 1952 passed away October 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Barbara Cygan, her husband Michael Holata, and her dear friend Eric Wagner.

Suzanne is survived by her stepdaughters, Sandra (Randell) Holata Diehl, Stephanie (Troy) Stuhldreher, granddaughter, Stacey Stuhldreher (Nick), and grandson, Michael Stuhldreher.

She was a Teamster and worked in the trucking industry for over 40 years. She enjoyed hiking in nature, playing darts and the harmonica, as well as tending her garden.

The family is thankful to the wonderful staff at UH Oncology at Southwest General, the Seidman Cancer Center and the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center and friends and family who eased our burdens and brought joy to Sue in her final days.

Visitation will be held Sunday November 9th from 1-2 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd. A Memorial Service will begin promptly at 2 PM with Pastor Keith Johnson officiating.
