Susan L. Tisen

Susan Lauren Tisen, age 81, passed away peacefully at home on August 4, 2026. Formerly of Monaca, Pennsylvania, Susan was residing in Stowe, Ohio, at the time of her passing.

Before retiring, she worked as a greeter at Eat’n Park, a role she truly made her own — often welcoming guests with a smile and a song. Her warm spirit and cheerful presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Above all else, Sue cherished her family. She had a deep and abiding love for her children and grandchildren, and nothing brought her more happiness than time spent with them. Her kindness, laughter, and gentle heart will be remembered and treasured always.

She is survived by her children: Melinda Landis (Mark), Don Leinwand (Keri), and Kelly Druschel (Tim); and her grandchildren: Lauren Lane (Patrick), Tyler, DJ, Kassy, Peyton, Adeline, and Adam. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Adeline Fazenbaker, and her siblings, Bruce (Fran) Fazenbaker and Sandra (Larry) Fitzgerald.

Visitation will be from 4pm-6pm with a service to follow at 6pm on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cause close to her heart.

Sue’s legacy of love, warmth, and song will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
