Listen to Obituary

Susan Moses, lovingly known as Susie, beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in the early hours of April 26th, 2026. Susie will be remembered for her quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and the steady presence she was in the lives of those who loved her. She was a devoted supporter of her family, making holidays special, rarely missing a game, a birthday, or a moment that mattered. Many of her nieces and nephews will remember the special memories she helped create—days spent at sporting events, swimming, fishing, or visiting amusement parks—simple moments that meant everything because she was there.

Susie dedicated over two decades of her life as a legal secretary at Williams Moliterno & Scully. She truly loved the people she worked with. Her family is deeply grateful for the kindness, care, and support they showed her over the years, treating her not just as a colleague but as family. Susie had a lifelong love for baseball and was a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Indians, now the Guardians. She also had a special place in her heart for dogs, always keeping one close by. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, including her love of sweets and time spent with family. Throughout her life, Susie faced challenges with remarkable grace and resilience. She never complained, choosing instead to carry herself with quiet courage and to focus on others before herself. Her strength, humility, and selflessness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. In her final days, Susie was surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. Being present with her and providing comfort in return was a gift that will always be cherished. She is survived by her mother, Pearl Moses; her brothers, Ricky Moses and Keith (Amy) Moses; her nephews, Joshua (Katrina) Moses, Ryan Moses, Scott Moses, and Shane Moses; and her nieces, Ashley Moses and Chelsea Moses. She is also survived by special uncles, aunts, and extended family members who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Joe Moses; her brothers, Daryl and Duane Moses; and is now reunited with her beloved companion dogs, JJ and Tasha. She leaves behind a family who will deeply miss her steady presence, her gentle spirit, and the love she gave so freely. While her absence is deeply felt, her legacy lives on in the memories she created and the example she set. The family hopes to honor Susie by continuing to show up for one another, just as she always did. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
