Susan K. Meloy

Together Again

Susan K. Meloy, 72, passed away peacefully September 28, 2025. Born in Akron, Ohio to Walter and Betty Mothersbaugh, she was a lifelong area resident. She previously worked at S.G.S. Tool Company for many years. Susan enjoyed reading, word searches, camping, cookouts and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Meloy. She will be sadly missed by her children, Bryan (Wendy) Steinlechner, Brenda (Eric) Gruber; grandsons, Alex Steinlechner, Joey Steinlechner; siblings, Larry Mothersbaugh, Betty McClelland, Tammy Mothersbaugh, Scott Mothersbaugh.

Family and friends are invited to visit Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Susan's name to the food pantry of their choice.
