Susan Kay Morris
Susan Kay Morris, 64, of Akron, passed away on July 21, 2012 after fighting a courageous seven year battle with cancer. Susan was born in Akron on February 1, 1948 to the late Elmer and Katie Myers. She was raised in Green Twp. and graduated from Green High School in 1966. She loved animals and spending time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Myers; niece, Denise Myers; mother-in-law, Dorothy Morris; and sister-in-law, Carol Myers. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 45 years, Danny Morris; brother, Jim Myers; father-in-law, Donald Morris; sisters-in-law, Becky (Ron) McCarney, Patty (Joe) Marchion, and Shelby Myers; nephews and niece, Joey (Tricia) Marchion, Krystal (Chris) Marchion, and Ron (Christine) Myers; and other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Jennifer Payne and the staff at Summa Hospice and the Palliative Care Unit for the care given to Sue.
Per Sue's wishes, there will be no services and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a favorite charity.
