Susan K. Gish

Susan K. Gish (née Nelson), age 69, of Streetsboro, Ohio, passed away on April 1, 2026, after a courageous battle with colon cancer.

She was born on August 27, 1956, in Akron, Ohio, to the late Margaret and Francis Nelson.

Susan was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alan Gish, who passed on August 29, 2022, as well as her brother, David Nelson.

She is survived by her loving sister, Patricia (Gary) Cox, along with several nieces and nephews. She held a special place in her heart for her niece, Laurie and David Parsons. Susan also dearly loved her faithful companion, her dog, Mootsie.

Susan was an avid Browns fan and decorated her home with memorabilia. She was a kind and caring woman who was loved by many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A private cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
