Steven R. Kuhn, 63, of Akron, passed away on January 5, 2016. Steve was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 28, 1952 to the late Richard and Lorraine Kuhn.
He achieved 15 years of sobriety and was a valued AA member, having started new chapters in both Akron and Florida. In his free time, Steve was an excellent cook and enjoyed fishing and watching the Green Bay Packers.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Kuhn. He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Emily Kuhn; mother-in-law, Connie Cadwallader; sister-in-law, Debbie (Billy) Smith; sister, Katie; brother, Rick; and many friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 11-1 followed by a 1:00 pm memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
