Steven W. Hennacy

Steven W. Hennacy, 61, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026 after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Akron, where he worked as a drywaller for 35 years. Steve enjoyed his motorcycles, hanging out and working in the garage and spending time with his family.

Steve was preceded in death by his mom, Carol Hennacy; brother, Jerry Hennacy; son, Mikal. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 39 years, Debi Hennacy; dad, Rod Hennacy; siblings, Jimmy Hennacy, Crystal Hennacy; children, Chris Thompson, Casey Hennacy, Stevie Hennacy; grandchildren, Mandie, Chase, Brooklynn, Skylor, Sophia, Mykyla, Lacy, Justin Jr.; many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will have a celebration of Steve's life at a later date. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Steve's name to his wife, Debi.
