Steven G. Stachowiak, 61, of Tallmadge, passed away on January 27, 2010. He was born in Akron on January 14, 1949. He received services through Ardmore for many years and was currently employed by REM. Steve and his wife Mary enjoyed going to Tasty Restaurant on weekends. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 27 years, Mary; sister, Laura Stone; aunt, Ella Anderson; several cousins and many friends. Visitation will be Friday from 10-11 followed by a 11 a.m. funeral service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
