Steven Deryck

Steven Paul Deryck, age 43 of Barberton, Ohio, died at the Summa Barberton Hospital on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 2:36 PM, surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 30, 1972 in Akron, the son of Linda Karg Deryck Bedore and Brian Scott Deryck, Sr., both of Canal Fulton.
Steve was a 1991 graduate of Garfield High School in Akron. He was employed as a machinist at Bearing Engineered Solutions in Akron. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, monkeys, chocolate chip cookies, bon fires, and making people laugh. His greatest joy was spending time with his two daughters. Steve always thought of others before himself.
Other than his parents, Steven is survived by his daughters, Rachel Michelle and Bailey Nicole Deryck; his brother, Brian Scott Deryck, Jr.; nieces, Danielle Nicole and Ashli Grace Deryck, and his nephew, Alexander Scott Deryck; his former spouse, Rhiannon (David) Williams. A very special thanks to Charles Grisi, Charlie Manocchio, and Dick Lindiman, for being there for him.
Steven was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Keli Daus Deryck.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where family and friends may gather from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Rev. Gary McClelland will celebrate Steven's life.
