Stanley H. Ward
Stanley H. Ward went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2015. He was born in London, England on April 2, 1948 to the late Edith and Stanley R. Ward. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was VP Art Director for Whitemyer Advertising in Zoar, Ohio for over 20 years before leaving and opening his own agency called Marstan Communicating Arts for 10 years before falling ill. Stanley enjoyed wood working with his children, and loved flowers and his animals, Gidget and TT. He loved to paint, sketch and draw everything, especially people.
He was preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren. Stanley leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife of 30 years, Marlene; sons, Shawn (Julie), Jonathan (Julie); daughters, Jenny (Robert) Pratt, Jeanna (Timothy) Czuchaj; mother in-law, Beulah Selman; niece, Heather (Chuck) Sharo;14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday May 5 from 5-7pm. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 6, 2015 at 11am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44305 where calling hours will begin at 10am. Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
