Shirley E. Essex, 94, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 . Shirley was born on February 28,1921. She loved flower gardens, taking long walks and canning her own food.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Essex; brothers, John and William Romine. She is survived by children; Robert Dean (Sue) , Timothy (Linda), Darlene( Ken), Mark ( Cindy) , Carolyn Beth (Hugh) Conroy; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, November 13, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home,131 N. Canton Road, Akron, Ohio 44305. A funeral service will follow. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park.
