Shirley A. Ellis, 72, of Akron, passed away December 4, 2007. Shirley will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Her kindness will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her sister, Madeline. She is survived by her children, Kathy (James) Hardy, Patricia (Buck) Buchanan, and Debra Usner; brothers, Theodore (Judy) Bennington, Jr. and Donald (Marilyn) Bennington; and grandchildren, Christopher (Kathy) and Monica. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., with visitation for 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery.
