Shawn E. Stewart Adkins

Shawn Elaine Stewart Adkins, 56, of Twinsburg, passed away at home on July 8, 2025. Shawn was born July 29, 1968 in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in Ft Walton Beach, Florida in 1986. She graduated from The University of Akron with an Associate's Degree in Community Services in 1998 and then graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Applied Science - Accounting in 2011. She lived many years in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and recent years in Twinsburg, Ohio.

Shawn enjoyed being with her friends, playing volleyball, country music and going to concerts. She loved her Shar-Pei dogs and had many over the years.

Shawn was preceded in death by her parents, Davie and Margaret (Haughawout) Stewart; her sister, Diana Stewart; and niece, Lindsey Stewart Young.

Shawn is survived by her stepdaughter, Ashley Bowen; grandchildren, Ava, Kalvin and Eli; her sister, Dawn (Jeff) Grubich; brother, Darrell Stewart of Georgia; half siblings, Rhonda Johnson, Tracey Petroc, Jim Toney and Carrie Wolfe; her aunt, Sue (Ron) Dorion; good friend, Andy Mrak; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Cremation has taken place and there are no formal services planned at this time.
