Sharon G. Wilborn

Sharon G. Wilborn, 84, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026. Born in Illinois to Shelby and Virginia (Chadd) McGregor, she lived in the Akron, Ohio area most of her life. Sharon enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, working jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by husband, Jim Wilborn; brother, Jr (Liz) McGregor. She will be sadly missed by her son, Scott Wilborn; granddaughter, Crystel; great grandchildren, Matthew, Haley; siblings, Carlton (Belinda) McGregor, Charles (Brenda) McGregor, Linda (Dave) Stanley; many nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial donations in Sharon's name to the American Diabetes Association.
