Seldon L. Farnsworth

Seldon L. Farnsworth, a cherished husband, father, “Saba”, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on December 13, 2025. Born on March 19, 1956, Seldon was known for his immense compassion and love for his family and friends. His sudden illness took him too soon, but he fought valiantly to remain with those he held dear: his beloved wife of 42 years, Jodi; his daughters, Marissa, with her boyfriend Brian Somers, and Chelsea, along with her husband Dave Allis (who Seldon loved like a son); and his grandchildren, Carlene, Parker, Liam, and the soon-to-be-born Chloe; and brother-in-law Matt Prince.

A graduate of Walsh College, Seldon retired from Dominion East Ohio and more recently was employed at Stark State University. He treasured his role as "Saba," a title that embodied his dedication as a loving grandfather.

He found joy not just in the company of his family but also in his many friends and his favorite four-legged companions, who brought laughter and love into his life.

He is predeceased by his parents-in-law, Carl and Elly Prince.

A graveside service to honor Seldon's life has taken place in New York. He will be remembered for the profound impact he left on the lives of those who knew him, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to be a part of his world.
