Sara Martin

Sara Martin, 89, of Akron, crossed over into heaven on Saturday, January 3, 2015. She was born in Akron on November 25, 1925 to the late Charles and Emma (Brown) Witmyer. Sara was a people person who loved to talk to anyone she came in contact with. She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Tallmadge for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by husband of 64 years; William, and granddaughter; Christine. She is survived by daughter; Kathy Keller, grandson; Eugene Keller III; granddaughter; Melanie (Ben) Fouse; great-grandchildren; Alysa and Gabe Keller, Brittin, Mackenzie, Paige, Hope, Parker and Bella Fouse; sister, Louise Jones, brother; Bill Witmyer; and sister in-law; Alice Bosler, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10am at Newcomer Funeral Home 131 N. Canton Rd. Rev. Ken Bulgrin and Rev. Nelson Carter officiating. Interment Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
