Sandra S. Hallinan
Sandra S. Hallinan, 69, of Tallmadge, went home to be with her Lord on October 25, 2015. She was born in Akron on May 1, 1946 to the late Eli and Martha Hershberger.
Sandra was a longtime member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Akron and was a lover of gospel music. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jimmy, Jerry, and Ronnie Hershberger. She is survived by her husband, John Hallinan; children, Brenda (Lonnie) DelMedico, Jonathan (Mona) Harvey, and Laura Harvey; grandchildren, Jon (Nicole) Harvey II, Christopher Harvey, and Kathryn Thompson; great-granddaughter, Raelynn Harvey; sisters, Betty, Norma Jean (Floyd), Juanita, and Diana; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with visitation for one hour prior. Interment at Greensburg Cemetery.
