Sandra Joy Bereider

Saundra Joy Bereider, age 79 of Akron, Ohio, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Akron City Hospital.
She was born in Sommerset, PA on August 31, 1936, the daughter of the late John G. and Nancy Holiday Reese.
Saundra worked for a short time at Infocision in Akron. She was a homemaker who enjoyed doing crafts. She was a very active member of her church, Church of God in Cuyahoga Falls, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the choir.
Survivors include her husband, Henry N. Bereider, Sr., whom she married July 17, 1954; her children, Henry N. (Mary) Bereider, Jr., Nicka (Bill) Dobson, Nancy (David Shaw) Bereider; her grandchildren, Melissa (Kevin) McGlone, Charity (Steve Lawrence) Dobson, Jason Bereider; and four great-grandchildren.
Other than her parents, Saundra was preceded in death by, one great-grandson, and six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 North Canton Road, Akron, where Rev. Richard Woodin will celebrate Saundra's life.
Family and friends may visit from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
She will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, Ohio.
