Samuel S. "Sam" Timms, 70, went home to be with the Lord on May 4, 2014.
Sam served as a deacon at The Chapel in Marlboro and was a very active servant in the Men's Ministry as well as various prayer teams. He was also a member of the Wayfair Masonic Lodge and Yusef Khan Grotto. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with his grandkids, and playing cards.
Preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Hazel Timms. Survivors include his beloved wife, Sandra, of 48 years; sons, David (Lisa), Steven (Marcia), and Matthew; grandchildren, Grant, Annaleese, Rachel, and Luke; brother, Edgar "Bud"; sisters, LaRue (Adam) Klein and Donna (Charles) Loftis.
Calling hours will be Friday, May 9, 2014, 2-4 p.m. at The Chapel in Marlboro, 8700 Edison St. NE, Louisville, OH 44641, with a Masonic service at 1:30 p.m. and a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Men's Ministry at The Chapel in Marlboro.
