Samuel J. Tomsello

Samuel J. Tomsello, 67, of Akron, passed away May 8, 2014. He was born in Akron on August 15, 1946 to the late John and Margaret Tomsello. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Rose and Brenda. Sam is a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam.

Sam is survived by his loving companion of 35 years, Pat; daughters, Paula Page and Karen McHugh; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren with one due anytime soon; brother, Tony (Barbra); sisters, Josephine Smith, Susan Bennett and Cookie Kissinger; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sam had a great life and will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 14, from 4-6 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., A funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6 p.m. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
