In loving Memory of our son, Samuel Arthur Fosnight.
Samuel Arthur Fosnight was called to his heavenly home on October 9th, 2026 in his parents loving arms. Samuel was a miracle, an answered prayer, a gift from God that brought immeasurable love, hope and happiness into our family. Samuel loved being nestled against his momma’s chest wrapped in the warmth of her embrace, Samuel loved listening to the music his momma sang to him, the books she would read to him and the prayers she would speak to him. Samuel’s daddy cherished the precious time he got to spend with him. He showed Daniel courage and love only a son could. Part of daddy’s heart will be forever in heaven.
His big sister Madison was so eager to have a little brother, the excitement of becoming a big sister in her heart overflowed. She loved Samuel during the time they shared together, helping the nurses at every visit to take care of him. She had a brother to love, a bond to share, and a place in her heart that was already waiting just for him.
Samuel will forever be cherished by his loving parents Daniel and Ashley; big sister, Madison; his paternal grandparents Scott and Linda Fosnight; maternal grandparents Richard and Deann Lynn; and his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Our sweet Samuel, you were a miracle from the very beginning. You were prayed for, cherished and loved deeply than you could ever have known. God made us parents to a precious son, made Madison a big sister and gave our family a gift that can never be undone.
Daniel, Ashley and Madison would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the entire NICU staff at Akron Children’s Hospital. Thank you for caring for Samuel, for standing beside our family, and for treating our sweet boy with love and compassion. Your kindness and tenderness meant more to us than words could ever express. We are forever grateful, and you are a part of Samuel’s story that will carry on in our hearts.
In loving memory of Samuel Arthur Fosnight, memorial donations may be made to Akron Children’s Hospital’s Walk for Babies.
Through these contributions, Samuel’s beautiful life may continue to inspire hope and help other families experience the uncertainty and challenges of having a baby in the NICU. We hope his legacy of love will live on through the lives he touches.
