Sammie Sky Rose

Sammie Sky Rose (Connor Ward) unexpectedly left this Earth on Wednesday, February 4th, at the age of 27, to be reunited with her beloved grandparents, Claude Ward and Ronald Nelisher. Whatever Sammie was passionate about, she pursued with her whole heart. She spent countless hours at the lake with her family and proudly participated in fishing tournaments. She loved playing cards and watching football with her mom and dad, sharing laughter and connection in those simple moments. She spent long nights playing video games with her brothers, filling the house with joy and fun, and thoughtful afternoons talking about the universe and philosophy on the balcony with her sister. Sammie had a deep love for animals, a sense of wonder about the world, and a fearless joy for riding roller coasters at Cedar Point. She experienced life with curiosity, intensity, and warmth, and those qualities will be remembered by everyone who knew her.

Sammie is survived by her loving parents, Lorraine and Bruce Ward; her siblings Bruce (Sara), Jessica (Destin), and Collin; her grandmothers Vera Ward and Sue Ryan; and many other family members and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Sammie is fishing in heaven now.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 20th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with memories and stories shared beginning at 6:00 PM, at 2000 Oneida Ave, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. This gathering is informal, and all are encouraged to come as they are, just as Sammie would have wanted. Her family invites everyone who was blessed to know her to join them in honoring her life, sharing memories, and celebrating the love she brought into the world.
