Sally N. Olds, 76, went to be with the Lord on December 13, 2014.
She has been serving the Lord since she was 4 years old and was a member of the Pentecostal movement. Sally loved gardening, collecting antique dolls. She retired from Ohio Edison in the line department.
Preceded in death by her parents, Todd and Thelma; sister, Judy; and brother, Ron. Survivors include her beloved husband, Bob, of 53 years; her precious son, Todd; sister, Joan Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness." 2 Timothy 7-8.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, with a memorial service to follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Matthew Skifstad, of Victory Life Church, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or the Humane Society of Greater Akron.
