Sally Ann Johnson

Sally Ann Johnson, age 66, of Ravenna passed away on June 26, 2024, with her children by her side. She was born in Akron, Ohio on January 4, 1958, to the late Waldo McCray and Eva Radcliffe. Sally was a graduate of Garfield High School class of 1976. She was in school for cosmetology and continued with that until 1999. Sally retired in 2020 with over 30 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed crafts and quilting, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Jesse (Vickie) Johnson, Jerica Wright, and Jeana (Tommy) Thomas; grandchildren Victoria Springer, Gia Smith, Emily Johnson, Brenden Mizner, Dylen Mizner, Andrew Johnson, Jorden Thomas; great-grandchildren Noelle, Nataline, Jace, Nichole, and Jasper; siblings Paul Williams, Charles "Ernie" Williams, Cathy Carter, Dora "Gay" Yeager, Darwin McCray, Wally McCray, and Samuel McCray; sister-in-law Carolyn Knaus, and brother-in-law James Johnson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ernest "Buck" Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd, 2024, from 4-6 pm with a service to follow at 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home.
