Sadie M. Watson,80, of Akron, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 29, 2014. She was born June 6, 1933 in Cranberry West Virginia to the late James and Annie Evans. Sadie retired from Goodyear Aerospace after 31 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Watson and seven siblings. She will be deeply missed by her children, Debi, Ed (Laurie), and Donna (Terry); stepchildren, Cathy and Ray; loving sister and BFF, Hazel Bossert; eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank the staff at Hospice of Summa for all the care given to Sadie.
Visitation will be Thursday April 3 from 5-7 followed by a 7:00 p.m. memorial service with Pastor Robert Patterson officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. A private burial will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sadie's family.
