Ruth I. Yoder, 80, passed away on November 15, 2011 at Altercare of Hartville, born in Akron, Ohio. Ruth was member of TOPS, the Red Hats, and a lifelong member of what is now New Horizon Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Rena Stricklen.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of thirty-three years, Ernest; daughters, Judy Prichard, Debra (Myron) Matczyszyn; sister, Marilyn Stricklen; grandchildren, Charles Coburn, Rena (Jason) Hamric; great-children; many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Saturday, November 19, from 1-2:30 PM followed by a memorial service at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
