Ruth Marie Turley, 88, passed away January 10, 2011 after a short illness. She was a member of the Women's VFW Auxiliary, and she loved gardening, crochet, and travel. Ruth was preceded in death by daughter, Darlene; and grandsons, Jerry Jr., and Jeremy. She is survived by her 6 children; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 sister; and 2 brothers. Calling hours will be held Friday, January 14, from 10 am to 12 noon at Newcomer Funeral Home, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a service will follow at 12 noon. Entombment to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
