Ruth M. Buker, 59, passed away February 16, 2014. She was born on November 9, 1954 in Akron. Ruth retired from Euclid Garment Manufacturing in Kent.
She was preceded in death by her foster mother, Edith Nuzum.
She will be deeply missed by her foster father, Carl (Lois) Nuzum; brother, Carl (Cheryl) Snider of Overland Park, KS; foster brother, Duane (Janet) Nuzum of Winterhaven, FL; former husband, Bill Buker; niece, Monya (Eric) Garnett; aunt, June Prentis; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 20 from 4-6 p.m. followed by a 6:00 p.m. memorial service with Pastor Gordon Runyon officiating at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron.
