Ruth E. DeMar, 90, of Akron, passed away August 12, 2014. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 18, at 1pm in the New Horizons Christian Church, 290 Darrow Rd. Akron, Ohio 44305 with Pastor Jim Bane officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment at Oakwood Cemetery with her daughter.
