Russell O. Rose, 96, went to be with the Lord on May 30, 2013. Russell retired from Goodyear after many years of service. He was a member of the First Apostolic Church of Tallmadge and the Portage Beagle Club.
Preceded in death by his nephew, Jim Rose. Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Margarette; son, Michael Rose, of Alabama; sisters, Eleanor Hamler and Emily Denmor, of Jackson, MI; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Calling hours will be Sunday, 2-5 p.m., at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
