Russell Paul Manning (Bubba)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Russell Paul Manning, born on March 15, 1980, who left us far too soon due to a blood clot. Russell’s vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Russell was a cherished son to Ray and Debra Gibson, and he shared a special bond with his mother, Debra, that was evident to everyone around them. He is also survived by his beloved siblings: Mack E. Manning (Sylvia), Spring D. Manning-Estes (Eric), Marsha M. Manning, and Ray (Diamond) Hannahs. Each of them carries a piece of Russell’s heart and will forever hold his memory close.

As a devoted uncle, Russell was affectionately known as “Uncle Bubba” to his adoring nieces and nephews: Kailah, Kayla, Meka, Mallerie, Cameron, Zachary, Isleta, Triston, Ariana, Trinity, Ryleigh, April, Daylin, Jayce, Malcom, Raylyn, and Faith. He took great joy in their lives and was a source of laughter and love, creating memories that will last a lifetime. He was also a proud great-uncle to Brooklyn, James, Dean, Eliana, and Jay Kyle, who will remember him fondly.

Russell was proceeded in death by his biological father Earl Manning.

Russell’s circle of friends was vast, but he held a special love for those who became like family: JenJen, Josh, Jake, Ron/Reg, Jaime, Michael, Brandon, Matt, Pape, Sean, and Len. Each of these individuals played a significant role in his life, and their shared memories will forever be a testament to the love and camaraderie they experienced together.

Russell’s warmth, kindness, and infectious laughter will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special and loved, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of family and friends.

A celebration of Russell’s life will be held at a later date, where we will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears in honor of a truly remarkable man. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Russell’s name, as a way to continue his spirit of generosity and love.

Rest in peace, dear Russell, you will be missed and always remembered.
