Rudy V. "Butch" Borton Jr.

Rudy V. "Butch" Borton Jr, 65, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 surrounded by his family. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia to Rudy V. Sr and Flora Imogene (Kelley) Borton, he resided in northeast Ohio most of his life. Rudy previously worked as a self-employed handyman for many years, most recently serving as a Maintenance Director. He enjoyed bowling, watching sports, riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family.

Rudy will be greatly missed by his children, Kelley (Cory) Stair, Katie (Vince) Scotese, Kyle (Shelby) Borton; granddaughter, Gabriella; siblings, Chrys (Buddy) Decker, Brad Borton; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Newcomer, Akron Chapel, 131 N. Canton Rd.
