Together Again!
Rosemary Eslinger, 87, went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2015. She was reunited with her loving husband of 44 years, Norman Eslinger.
"Norm" proposed to "Rose" just three days after they met. The two of them had a beautiful marriage. They were inseparable.
Norm loved that his wife was "short and spunky." She was only 5 feet tall, but was a strong, beautiful woman on the inside and out.
She was full of love and compassion and devoted her entire life to her family. She loved when her home was filled with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was constantly cooking and baking fabulous foods for them. She also loved fashion, had a great sense of style and taught her girls to never leave the house without lipstick!
Rose lived a wonderful life and will be remembered most for her love of Jesus Christ. She was a prayer warrior. Her Catholic faith was the most important thing to her and is something she passed on through the generations.
Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna Surick; husband, Norman Eslinger and brother, Joseph Surick. She is survived by her loving children, daughter, Debbie (Scott) Neal; daughter, Linda (Donald) Miller; and son, Kevin Eslinger. Joys of her life, grandchildren, Melissa (Seth) Burrows, Jennifer (Scott) Winot, Michael Miller, Jason Eslinger, Chad Eslinger, Katie Neal, Nicole Miller, Dylan Eslinger and Hunter Eslinger. Great-grandchildren who adored her, Jack, Allison, Andy, Alex, Anna, Matthew, Madison and Julia Rose, her namesake; Brother John (Helen) Surick, Sister Clara Leihgeber, brother Gabe Surick: and many other loving family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held this Saturday, September 26 at St. Paul's Catholic Church, located at 433 Mission Dr. in Akron. There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m.
Rosemary's final resting place will be at Crown Hill Cemetery, located at 8592 Darrow Rd. in Twinsburg.
